18' order
I ordered my f350 ccsb platinum on 9/27 and just got off the ford chat and they cant give me any updates on the truck, cant tell me scheduling or anything.is there a way to find out anything? No vin # or anything to go by yet.

if no vin, seems the dealer doesn't have allocation. It should be no problem ordering a f350 platinum. Do you know what your Priority # is? If dealer had allocation, you should have had a VIN at the beginning of October.

I'm in the same boat. Dealer is one of the higher rated and biggest sellers in Texas if not the US and Ford is even giving them the run around on special order production. They are slated to get 15+ trucks next week of dealer allocation but their special order trucks are still floating in the ether somewhere...

I think the Navigator and Expedition launches(both are new going down the same line as the SD) is slowing the ramp up of the 2018 SD.
Also, are your trucks DRW? I also think those have had a delayed production.
I ordered a 450 at the end of September. Just received the VIN last week with a production date the week of 1/8.

priority code is 19, what does that mean??

Priority code is the order Ford builds them from each dealer. 10 is the best, then 11, then 12 etc. So any trucks that are put in better then a 19 (10-18) will be built first.
That is your problem with your truck.. they didn't put it as a high priority. Request they change it to a 10 so it will get built.

Me too! Ordered 9/15. Chat finds the order but status is "clean and unscheduled". Guess I'll be driving the 2012 F150 through the winter.

Actually I just reviewed my order summary my dealer sent me, it is in fact a priority code 10...
