Order lists for dealer?
So I haven't bothered calling my dealer. My order was placed last Tuesday. Haven't got a call about a VIN or anything.
Is is there a way to view what all a dealer has ordered to see if mine is on the list?

Thursday would have been the first pickup day, and it's not too common (though not impossible) to have a vin this quickly. If they printed out an order confirmation that's as good as you're going to get for now. If you want to call them, do so on Fridays, that's after any updates are likely to take place. Depending on who you're working with it might change how much information they really have access too. As I've said before, some dealers don't even do their own ordering, so they really might have no clue where it is in the process if they subcontract that out.

I ordered my truck last Tuesday also, my dealer emailed me the VIN on Monday with and expected build date of July 17 and Est. delivery date of 8 Aug. I entered my VIN in cotus with no results either because its to soon or because a it is an F-350 DRW, but I did get results in Etis. Etis shows minimal information but the VIN does come up saying it it an F-350 DRW, Crew, 6.7 Power stroke.

I call Ford customer services today with my order number, they told me that the order was getting processed and that the ETA was around the 13th of August, they didn't have a VIN for me though.
I ordered around the 29-30th of May.

All I can tell you is that I ordered my truck on 5/30/2017, I got the following
email on 5/5/2017 :

I had to go back through your posts to see if you meant ordered on 4/30 and got email on 5/5 or ordered on 5/30 and got email on 6/5 as I am trying to timeline mine ordered on 5/6.

Well I'm in the same boat as the op. I ordered on 5/25 and still no vin from the dealer yet. I talked with ford chat and they were able to tell me that my order was in processing and gave me the generic 8-10 week delivery time.
I will take the advice from a previous post in this thread about calling my dealer on Friday. I didn't really want to bother him about it but If some of you guys are getting vins that fast Friday would be over two weeks for me. I just want to know the order was placed in a timely manner so the 8-10 weeks doesn't turn into 9-12 because of it sitting on someone's desk...

I mean I'd like to be able to know a little something but I don't wanna bug the dealer but then again I am paying a lot for this truck.
However i I am curious, is t possiable they will just let the truck get there and sit on the lot or risk losing the customer over the extensive wait?

Guys -- we've all been through this -- some level of patience is needed....From what I read we're like 8-9 weeks out, so give the factory some time to actually schedule something before expecting all of the info...
