2002 electronic mirror problem

2002 electronic mirror problem
Mirror has about half blocked out, lower portion. Is there any fix and how is mirror removed?

How is it removed? I will replace it with a standard manual mirror.

Allan key at base, loosen and slide mirror assembly up...
