For those that don't like the Stop/Start feature, I thought of an idea that probably wouldn't be much of a challenge for anyone that's into automotive electronic.
The switch on the dash that turns the Stop/Start system off and on could likely be working with a normally closed relay. If you could figure out which relay it is you should be able to replace the relay with a NORMALLY OPEN relay and make the switch work in the reverse order.
I would have thought it would be a binary input to the vehicles controller? Seeing as you can override it in ForScan, this would lead me to believe it is a soft point rather than a hard (relay) point?
I think Rikster is probably right, since it can be disabled with software. I don't expect that it has a physical relay, most of those have been replaced with computers these days.
