Just running things through my head...but is there a reset or some sort of safety shut off or “circuit breaker” for for the fuel system that could of been triggered by the sudden shut down from the remote starter?
Hmmmm. Ok. I will dig up the original remotes. Have to say...this is a first I have heard of this procedure and I thought I had heard it all.
The remote start may be in Valet mode, this should take it out of VM.

On mine it you lock the doors with the button on the remote state fob, then use the key to unlock, it will disable the ignition. You must use the unlock button on the remote start fob to get it started.
Remember all. I have removed the remote start unit. It is an aftermarket that I installed about 8 or 9 yrs ago. Still have the same issue with it out. So...it may have caused the prob but it isn’t the issue now.

So put it back in, then run the steps you gave? I think I am lost.
The remote unit is pretty basic.
I did check and it is the CoolStart RS3-G5 (CrimeStopper)
I didn't even use all of the options. It is just wired for remote start and run the door locks.
I unplugged the unit completely from the truck and still get the same crank but no run.
I didn't even install the hood pin. And until yesterday, this think worked great for 9yrs. I think it still works, but something was triggered in the truck when it cut off power and stopped the truck and me turning the key to start it.
Right now the potteries are on a tender. I have disconnected the + leads from them and hooked up the tender. Been on there all night.
I will be digging into this more tonight after I get home from work and this weekend. Hope to get it going, I need to have this running this weekend. Need to get a load of hay.

Billy,
Here's the manual, look on PAGE 19 DIAGNOSTICS for trouble shooting.
Thanks for digging that up...but as I mentioned before, I have removed the remote start unit and the issue still exists. So to me, it is NOT the remote unit that is failing now. It may have caused something to fail, but it isn't the current issue.
I am trying to figure out what it could of affected.
I have the batteries disconnected and when I get home I will reconnect and try to start again. No remote unit installed, no chip.
after that I think I am going to have to start troubleshooting the fuel system.
I believe there is a relay somewhere that could of affected this but finding it is the trouble. All fuses under hood and under dash have been checked, but I have not tested the relays themselves. That will probably be next. I just hate going through all of them if someone knows which could be pointing to injectors or fuel.
Not yet. That is on my list of things to try when I get home. I have a spare CPS in the glove box that is going to go in. The try ICP.
That is all after I verify that it is getting fuel.
I am at this point looking at... What could of puked from a sudden cut off of power to the ignition system.
If it is IPR...then I am going to claim coincidence.
I mean the truck is 19yrs old and almost 330K on the clock. Its about time those sensors were replaced anyway.
