Evening friends.

Not much going on here - got the camper plugged in to top off the battery enough to run the tongue jack in the morning. I've got to haul it back in to Strafford in the morning. Maybe this time they'll actually do something.

I highlighted the cancer in Orange so I would not por-15 it. The car was on the road for less than a decade and in the junkyard for the last 40 years. Most of the rust it is in the back seat floorboard and in the trunk/ quarters. Most likely from sitting on a hill all these years.

The boy IS good, no bout adout it! Who else can cut open a FACTORY SEALED 35 year old door latch assembly, make a spring for inside it that you wouldn't even have been able to buy from the factory when it was new & put it all back together like new! That boy's gonna be gettin' so much Eagle business, he might as well just sell that brown truck. I know how much he enjoyed working on that last Eagle, so I spread the word - If you're in the Springfield/Sparta area, you need to take it to him!

Good Morning Everybody!

Yeah, RC. People are gonna think I'm getting out of the dent business to get in to the '67 Impala business.

Pat. ....my pal. Thanks a LOT for telling people that.

Rich. It could always be worse. I have to work outside all winter since there's barely enough room in the garage for my equipment.

I got the back of the Impala taken off yesterday so I could see what was going on. ....it's all bad. But we should have enough sheet metal on the way to make it like new again. We're still missing the side drop pieces for the trunk floor, but I can put them on when we do the quarters. For now, we'll just get the floors done and the glass channels so Jeff can get it weather proof.

I gotta go at 1:00 PM today to pick up a set of axles that Ted Hutchens said he was going to give me. So if anyone needs a set of deuce and half axles, I got two sets now.

I hope to go pick up my new brake in St. Louis next week. It's a 6' industrial metal brake so I can build longer panels without having to piece them together.
