I had a great day, met up with Bens77 (Dave) and got my old 351M loaded into his very nice 03 F250 RED 4wd ect cab truck and then we talked Ford trucks, life and all sort of stuff.

Was nice to meet ya and hang out in the warm shop versus the cold outside. Hope that Ford manual helps out with the motor work you have in the near future.
Rich One of the best sat afternoon I have had in a long time. The manual is very welcome. Cant wait to start to look at it. The red truck got 12 MPG must need a tune up? The 77 got 10 on the way here. drove home at 60 MPH. Thanks again for the motor we will see where it stands . I got a soft spot for early bronco's .

That is great gas mileage for a 3/4 4wd truck with a 5.4 gas motor and an extra gas motor in the bed. lol

Like wise for me, you are more than welcome to come this way anytime or maybe I can get that way for some hanging out.

Morning folks, cold out there. Remember those outside pets need a warm place too.

No worries there Rich. They've taken over the couches & blankets here...

That's about all that's going on here RC. I've got a number of things that I need to do, but every one of them involve being outside. I took the dog out earlier to do his business and I thought I heard Nanook of the North and his dogs moving around so we headed back inside.

Good morning all. Awoke to no running water this morning, got cold enough to freeze in the line from the well to the house, got it running again. Watching The Mechanic from 1972 while warming back up.

So that WAS Chip making all that noise up north. Glad you got it running again. I've got my fingers crossed that Mom & Dad's place doesn't freeze up before this cold snap is over.

Evening Everyone!

Yeah, yeah. Working on getting the slab poured for the shop in the spring. Hope to have a new home for the truck by April (ish).

All the Christmas decorations are down and put away until next year. Deer meat chili is in the crock pot and should be ready to go pretty soon.

We've been cycling the outside pets in and out all day. They hate being inside, but we keep bringing them inside so they can eat and drink water that isn't frozen. They spend the night inside.

If anybody is bored and needs something to do, we're just hanging out at the house. Maybe we'll break out the playing cards if enough people show up.

I was thinking the engine was sucking below freezing air, wonder what that would do to gas millage.

Thanks RC I would like to report back with the plastic gauge readings I get but since I am working outside it might take some time.
