F550 wiring
I have a 2002 F550 bucket truck. The company that built it has it wired so the high idle for the boom operation is activated by turning the lights or parking lights on. This also turns off the overdrive for some reason. I would like to find where this is wired to the lights and put it on a toggle switch instead because if I'm driving at night I don't have overdrive and the lights also drain the batteries when I'm in the bucket and turn the truck off. I've read about consumer access wiring bundles and upfitter switches. Is that something that the truck builder likely used to activate the high idle and if so how do I find where it's connected?
