Why I NEEDED three brake pedals the quest for complication
So this all began because I am keeping the under floor pedals...no matter what.
I had already removed the original tank, cleaned it and installed a baffle and fuel sender.
As I worked to fit the hydroboost and master cylinder I encountered some parts wanted to occupy the same space.
At this point I was going to have to change something. I was also really reconsidering putting the gas tank directly below me for safety reasons in a major side collision. So I decided to put a tank inside the frame up front as well as provisions for a second tank at a later date. Now I could not find a tank to fit where I wanted it so I ended up making one from sheet. It is exactly 20 gallons.

Now that the old gas tank was out of the way I could continue with my new master plan to mount the master cylinder outside the frame! I used a 2.5" holesaw to put a hole thru the frame in exactly the original position of the brake/clutch pivot. Next I welded in a piece of 2.5" OD, 1.75" ID tubing so that once a brass bushing was pressed in and reamed it would be 1.5" which just so happens to be the size of the hole thru the brake pedals

Next I moved onto the three pedals I had collected. I turned a piece of tubing to 1.5" and pressed a pedal on. Then cross drilled it and reamed it to 3/8 thru the grease hole.
Now this will go thru the frame and first be the new pivot point for the clutch pedal. To clear the cab mount I had to cut off the brake lever arm and weld on the clutch lever but first it needed to be bored out for a bushing.
The lever to push the master cylinder doesn't need a pedal as it will be pressed onto the 1.5" shaft and cross pinned as well. Here are a few pictures after powder coating.
