Did a little research and found a pair of very busy truckstops (both Pilots, on opposite sides of the expressway at the same exit) along one of my routes home. At the one I stopped at, there were like 10 lanes for trucks only, and most were full, every body pumping fuel. I'll make this my regular fuel stop and see how things flesh out.

Added 4oz of PM22 and 4oz of PM23 as well.

Oh, and they have DEF @ the pump. $2.79 per gallon. Put in 6.0x gallons for like $16.75. SO much easier and cheaper than the stuff in the jugs. And with 5,911 miles on the odometer, this means I'm burning about 1 gallon of DEF per 1,000 miles.

Update (not that anybody cares): After 6+ weeks, ~3,500 miles and purchasing fuel ONLY at the aforementioned Pilot Truck stop, I'm happy to report that last night's water/fuel separator drain ended with much better results. There was barely a little bubble of water in the ~12 oz or so that I drained. The water bubble was about half the size of the bubble you see in a standard carpenter's level.

Since my large amount of water (earlier) came from one of the two stations I was using BEFORE Pilot, I've decided that I'm going to switch to one of them (the one near home) and get fuel there exclusively. This will let me determine if THAT station or the one up north by the cabin is the offending station. Then I can avoid THAT one and not have to pay ~15 cents a gallon more and drive more miles to get to the Pilot Travel Center.

Time will tell.

At 7900 miles I finally check mine today and surprisingly there was absolutely no water in the sample . I have filled my truck at the new Buckey's since I got my truck almost a year ago . Hoping the trend continues .
