What are these heds: D2TE?
I'm guessing that they are 72 2V large chamber heads. Anybody know the chamber size?

When you say 68.1 to 71.1cc, do you mean that each chamber can vary as much as 3cc.

Here's the cr specs for my pistons: Compression ratio: 9.91:1 (68cc heads), 9.62:1 (71cc heads)
Will .29cr variation make a difference?

If you use the Felpro gasket I think you may be able to use regular. But you are very close to experiencing fuel detonation with those CRs. If you plan on driving this truck a lot and pulling or hauling I'd recommend no more than 9.5 CR or use the Edelbrock aluminium heads and you can get away with those ratios you mentioned. IMHO of course.

This truck is my toy. Definitly not a work truck. No towing and very little around town driving. Weekend drag racing at the local track mostly. After that the motor will be going in a 1923 T-bucket kit car. If I don't kill it at the track.
