So I made an appointment with the dealer for next Wednesday. I explained the problem and will try to get the service advisor in the truck with me so I can replicate it for him to hear.

I got in the truck today. It had been sitting at a 2 degree incline for about 27 hours. Put it in drive and let off the brake pedal and nothing- no movement. Give it a little gas and I can feel the truck break free and the noise is coming from the drivers side front wheel.

I'm now thinking I have a sticking caliper.

Look at the rotors. A sticking caliper, front or rear, makes your rotors shine, almost like chrome.

They'll glaze but won't crack. Might warp or be warped already.
They'l be less effective, the glaze acts as a lubricant. LEss friction, less heat, less chance of cracks.
