Often times when starting my truck the initial engine response is low RPM slowly building to idle 725RPM set by tuner.
The engine should start and instantly get to 725RPM. On rare occasions the engine will do just that. i don't know where to look for problems. Any ideas?

truck runs fine like yours. i asked about this because it is a pride thing. When sitting next to a Chevy or Dodge and need to start the engine I always hope for the veroom gaser type of start and not the lazy POS start.
Kids truck is the same way, hot or cold. Often it turns over for a second and POP, other times it's kind of a "oh, you want me to start, uh?" loping up to things lighting off.
I will say the 6.4 starter mod helped in that department.
