Whatever will those people who have aftermarket turbochargers because of huge injectors that move A LOT more air do about their 3" downpipes?
That pipe is not a problem at all and is plenty big. Oh well, it's your time and money.

We dropped 70 degrees at 60mph at the exact same conditions except outside air temp was 10 degrees warmer. 200 degrees at strong throttle.
Heat is waste and money. Saving the planet one 7.3 at a time.

Actually 2 9/16” at that lower bend. Made a big difference in EGT’s which as we approach 400,000 we would like to keep down. Thanks to your SUPER tunes we will probably make it to 1,000,000 miles.

We are pretty slow down here in the south, not sure we understand what you mean. We are running 500 degrees now at steady 60mph on flat ground with no head wind. That seems great to us. We will know more later as we haul cattle.

You know who the heifers are watching when we pull up to the cattle auction, and it ain’t no $95,000 2017 F-350. They are looking at that 2002 F-350 7.3, and that ain’t no BULL!

I'm not saying you're wrong because only you know your pickup but I don't have any EGT problems with a completely stock exhaust system (except a straight-through 1995-1997 muffler, 250/200% injectors, 71mm turbo, and fat tires) while towing.

We do not have an EGT problem either, we are just trying to improve heat numbers which will increase exhaust valve and motor life as we see it. We made a big difference for sure, and we wanted to share that information with others.

hey whitey, I'm thinking of doing the same down pipe and installing a flow through muffler. How tuff was it to get the down pipe in? Any tricks?
