Hey guys. Dad and I are about to put some up grades into his 66 F250 he has had for over 25 years. . It’s been a great beast to take out on wheeling camping trips. But it’s got a few cuts and bruises now.. dad has 37” super swamper tires on it with the stock closed knuckle dana 44 front and 60 rearend Stock front and rear drum breaks. Recently blew up front diff and needs better breaks. . The plan is to put something bigger like a Dana 60 in with front discs, double pot master and power steering. All I know is 78 and 79 ford 3/4 ton have the drivers side drop diff like what I used in my jeep... I have no idea what is interchangeable with this year truck. Its Really tough to find any information on any of this stuff on the Internet for this year truck.
