Parts Help Request
Has anybody walked this mile trying to find one of these that is not broken, or a method to repair? It's for my 86 F150 XLT

I pulled one from a car and retro fitted it in my truck. Ford used these things for years in most of the cars and trucks.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Thanks Gentleman for your insight to the trans indicator search, Dave your correct about #4 but they don't have the AOD option, Bill your also correct that it is obsolete and there is no vendors with any inventory. Which leads me to "reamer", seriously? You have lots of them?! Let's work something out please.

I am trying to think how you could splice that tube back together. There is nothing in it but string. If you could undo the string on one end or the other, then you could slip something over it like shrink wrap, or maybe superglue a piece of vacuum hose over it and slide the tubing together. Then thread the string back through.

You could use a piece of the plastic 1/8 inch oil line tube for an aftermarket guage. Or use the 1/8 copper, never break again.
