As I sit here in my warm RV, I would like to put the truck into ACC mode with my remote start button to use my Forscan lite phone app and check my oil life remaining.

I can start it, but no sense in making noise and wasting fuel. The truck is about 10' away, but outside.

Is there a way to put it in ACC mode with the remote start fob?

 

Not that I am aware, try lock, then try two starts without the lock, and see. I think with the push button start the remote has to be in the truck. Other alternative might be to start it, then after about 5 minutes, press start button twice, this will shut off, but might leave in the accessory until you open a door or it times out.

 

That's what I figured. Once it's started, I can get the information I need and connect to Forscan Lite. Although it seems I always have to re-set Forscan Lite up...
