Pcv question

Instead of buying the pcv hose can you use standard vacuum line instead? Or does it require the hose? Thanks

If you can use a vacuum hose what size would I need?

Use vacuum hose only as a temporary fix.
The hose is not formulated for crank case contaminants.
The rubber ELL at the rear of the intake already goes bad from them.
It usually causes codes 171/174 from letting outside air into the motor through the port on the back side.
Do proper repair.
Good luck.
