Towing setup question - 03 Screw 4x4

I have a 2003 Screw 4x4 5.4 with the factory tow package and 3.73 gears. I added KYB MonoMax shocks a few years ago. This summer I bought a travel trailer that weighs 4600# dry, and with the weight distributing hitch and anti sway device on the hitch, it tows very nicely.
The only thing I don't like with my current setup are my LT tires. I know I am not exceeding their weigh limit, but I like the idea of extra sidewall stiffness of a heavier duty tire, so this winter I am going to get a set of load range E tires.

Now I am wondering if air bags or a rear anti sway bar would be a good idea as well, or would they be over kill? Has anyone here added either specifically for towing?

Thanks
Eric

I have the same truck and used it for towing my 6,700 pound boat. I did upgrade the rear shocks. I have the usual squat but not too bad.

A 5000# trailer is easy pulling for an F150 with 3.73 gears and the 5.4 motor.

A 5500# truck setting on a 2500# car hauler trailer would be a heavy load.

It sounds like from other's experiences, that air bags or rear sway aren't really necessary.

Mickey, I also have the AT3's, and aired them up for towing. I like those tires, and will probably stick with them for my next set. BTW, I grew up in Durango, and while in high school, made truck deliveries to Pagosa and went hunting out that way. Always like that drive.

Small world, yep, beautiful drive, probably a little more traffic than you remember, fortunately or unfortunately Pagosa has been discovered..
 Still nice though.

I remember it being quite small, but arty, I think. Of course, even Durango was pretty small back then. Now, I live in a town with roughly 450 people...

Still in Colorado?
450 sounds nice. I still love it here cause we're not far from South fork, Creed etc, they're still very rural.

I'm in Montana now. Kinda miss the big cities with the diversity of food, shopping, and people, but at least the town where I work has about 4000 people
