3.5" Leveling Kit or 4" Suspension Lift

I have a 2017 F350 6.7L Diesel four door that I'm looking to lift. Can't decide between the 3.5" Readylift or the 4" BDS suspension lift. Some questions I have are: hauling a 40ft toy hauler( which lift would be better for this), and also thinking of doing 35" tires with 22" wheels(would 22" wheels have any issues with hauling or something else.)

I personally went with BDS, and I'm really happy with the lift. I did look at the 4" for a bit before I decided on 6" but that's only because I wanted to run 37's.

The issue with a 35 and 22" rim is going to be the reduced side wall. Another reason I went with a 37 because I also wanted a 22" rim. You'd just need to lookup the load ratings for the tires you intend on getting potentially on that combo and consider it against what you expect to tow.

I'm only pulling a single car trailer with a 4000lb car on it. If I was pulling a 40ft trailer I'd probably stick with 35's and 4" lift but I would also personally stick with a 20" rim at that point for more sidewall.

A lot of this is obviously just my personal opinions.

Ok, I was wondering about the sidewall of the tire and something I will have to look up. Do you know if I will have to lengthen my driveshaft with a 4" lift?

If your pulling a 5er. Doing a 4" lift is going to put the pin very high esp with 37s. I'd recommend just doing a leveling kit with 35s.
The BDS 4" only lifts the back 2" but the bed height on these trucks is rediculously high to start with.
I have the BDS leveling kit on mine with 35s pulling a big Montana that has a very tall cutout and it is still higher in the front that I would like. No way I would pull it with my buddies truck with the 4" and 37s.
BDS all the way whichever option you choose. Great product.

Driveshaft is the same on a 4" and even the 6" BDS kit. Only difference on the 6" is they have part to index the angle of the Transfer case, and they don't do that on the 4".

I am pulling a 5er. Do you recommend the BDS leveling kit over the Readylift? Does the BDS come with fox shocks(are upgrading to fox shocks worth the extra money if I chose to do so.)

I've installed a couple dozen BDS lifts and every one fit perfectly and align properly. The BDS leveling kit comes with Fox shocks and caster bushings. Ready lift has shock extensions and your alignment shop will have to provide caster bushings.

So is the BDS kit a 3.5" ? Or do you have the item # for the kit so I can look it up on their site?

I've never had a BDS kit, but always heard good things about their products and their warranty. I got a promo code at a recent off road show that may help you. Use "SSORXPO17" for 20% off on their site.

+1 for the BDS 4" lift. Mine goes on next week, also putting on Hostile Alpha's (20x10), 37x13.5x20 Toyo RT's and smooth (body colour) Bushwacker flares. Can't wait to see the transformation!
