What are "grandpa style" mirrors?
The only power mirror option is the car-type or flag-style mirror. And no, a non-power version of that mirror doesn't magically become a power mirror just by running the wires. They look the same, but the manual mirrors have no motors. You need the actual power mirrors, the mirror/window/lock switch pad from a truck that had power mirrors, and the wiring harness that goes through the door bulkhead into the cab. If you can find a donor truck so equipped in a junkyard, that would be your best source.
