I let my tire pressure way down last night and like others have said, makes a big improvement in ride.
I want to get a portable air pump that could get me back to the 80#s needed for heavy hauling/towing if I got into a spot I did not have access to a normal compressor. I intend to leave this in my truck all the time. I see a bunch of portable 12V pumps all over the internet that claim 100+ PSI but not sure they are the best choice for this application.
Can I get some recommendations for portable, 12V or low wattage AC, portable air pumps that can do the job?
I carry a small tank with 150 psi which I can run from my generator when towing the RV. Its a small maybe 1 gallon tank and fits in my tool box. I have not tried to run on my new 110 volt plugs, thinking its well over the 400 watts.
VIAIR makes great products. I have one on my truck, had one on my last. They come in handy for more things than you think. You can easily mount them in the bed or underneath the truck.
