I have a 2017 Limited with the original rims. I’m changing tires soon and would like to upgrade to a metal valve stem to improve the aesthetics. Does anyone know the hole size and length I will need? I reached out to Summit Racing and they couldn’t answer the question. Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

I`d suggest that you give a place like Tire Rack a call.
I'm not sure about the '17 models, but I think the valve stem is integral with the TPMS system. Your Ford dealer or any tire shop should be able to answer that.

That’s good information. I️ believe you may be right on that.

I️ suppose I’ll just wait until the sensors fail and upgrade then. Thanks!
I think the batteries in many/most TPMS monitors are good for around 5 years. You will most probably be changing tires before then & that would provide you an opportunity to swap the stems.

I was told the earlier ones were five years but now they last for longer. I tried to Google it up, answers varied from 5 to 12. So... yes, wait until tires wear out then swap the stems. Good advice.
Once again, I think the valve stem is a part of the TPMS unit. It may be possible to change the stem part, but I doubt it. These links show pics of Ford TPMS units.
