2002 Excursion reverse sensor s
Ford parts lists the 2002 Excursion Reverse bumper sensors as part # 1L1Z-15K859-AA. These are very expensive.
Just not sure why the more commonly available (and cheaper) 4F23-15K859-AA / 3F2Z-15K859-BA version parts are different. I wouldn't mind having to cut a tab or something to make them work. Has anyone used these on 2002 model years?

From my experience, all the sensors from 00-07 are the same (despite different letters at the end). Maybe even later years. I am using '06 Expedition sensors in mine currently, and I have sent '07 Escape sensors to other members. They all work fine, and there are no tabs to cut. Plug and play.
