How are the dog ear mirrors while on the highway? Does the glass shake and vibrate?

 

If the glass shakes and vibrates, it’s time to upgrade. Depending on when your truck was built, it may just be plug and play.

 

They shouldn't. I had them for 13 years with no issues before upgrading.

I'm actually asking about upgrading my Expedition mirrors to the Excursion dog ear mirrors. I know most of you don't see that as an upgrade. But I think the look of the "towing mirrors" looks goofy on the smaller Expedition- plus I don't tow. And most importantly, the glass on the factory Expedition mirrors shake while in the highway.
