code p0455 problem

The iffy hose kind of slipped my mind pawpaw. I will replace it too. The cap is Auto Zone that's supposed to meet OEM specs. It "clicks" when removed but not when it's put on like original cap did. Like I said I don't have a Ford or Mazda dealer in the county anymore and I've always had good luck with AZ parts. Will let you know how things go. thanks again

Ok, let us know how it goes over time, hopefully the new cap & hose will fix the problem. Don't toss the old cap, if ok it could become a spare.
I kept my old one when I replaced my fuel cap with a OEM Locking type, when gas prices spiked years go.
