Backup camera question

I have an aftermarket yada back up camera that I already have hard wired to reverse lights. It is a PITA to plug and unplug the monitor in everytime I want to use it. It came with a wire to hard wire the monitor to the car, but i'm not sure how to do that. The instructions wanted to run wire to the fuse box, and I was just wondering if there was another way to get power to it. Thanks!

Run a power line off of the battery
Tap into the 12v adapter power
Many different options but depends on how you want it to operate and how much work you want to do.
Also depends on how much power the monitor requires.
