running the power wire

i have a 94 F-150 and i was wondering were did you guys run your power wire to your amp in your older f -150's thanks for the help

You should conect the power wire directly to your battery's positive post, with an inline fuse close by. You can also make the connection at the distrubution box (next to the fuses), but I think this tends to dim the lights if you've got some high power amps and all your accesories are running.

i ran my power wire along the left side of the truck, drilled a hole in the floorpan, installed a grument and went from there. id take a pic to show but its rainin out...dont forget to install a fuse no more then 18" from the battery and dont use the dist. fuse box.

don't connect the amp wire to your fuse block. hook it straight to the battery

ya i had it hooked to the battery w/ the inline fuse and all but i just diddetn now how to get threw the fire wall. i found one whole with a rubber grommit but it seems to be a little bit to tight i might have to grind the inside down or i found a spot to run it under the truck(dont want to do) and bring it in right behind the drivers seat

I'm not familiar with your specified year truck, but just keep looking under the dash area. You shouldn't have to drill any holes, there should be a few spots throught the firewall.
