Hey on my older sirra cobra. I️ keep having my water pump fuse melt. It doesn’t do it right away but over the course of the day one side will melt. It doesn’t blow the fuse it’s just melting one of the post that go into the fuse holder. Could this just be it need to be cleaned? I️ was looking for that same 9 fuse block but it seems they are hard to come by I️ fuse due to the age of the trailer.
The fuse is not blowing. It is just getting hot around the posts of the fuse. It’s only feeding the water pump and the tank level lights wouldn’t think that would be drawing to much for a 15
Huh. Out of my league, though from what you describe the fuse probably should be blowing. Fuse is supposed to be protecting the wiring, not the other way around.
Yeah I️ ended up un wiring everything and cleaning everything on that bank. It seems to have done the trick the one that looked burnt was severely clogged up with what I️ guess was fuse material from not making good contact.
