set timing

I have a 1966 Ford F100 pickup. It has a 351 winsor motor out of a 1984 crown victoria police car. I need advice on setting the timing.. Any advice?

I've always set my timing by ear. What truck you have the engine in doesn't effect the timing. It would be set the same as it was when it was in the Crown Vic. Sounds life that F100 will cover a lot of ground in a hurry. I have a 65 but it only has a 240. It gets me where I'm going, just not real fast. If your still selling the F350, I would be interested in buying it.
