302 intake

I have a 1990 302 HO from a Lincoln mark vii that I am putting in my 1984 f150 and I do not know if I need to buy an intake with a rear water crossover. The old fuel injected intake had a black metal hose running the length of the engine. Is that a rear water crossover. Thanks in advance

Are you removing the EFI intake and installing a carb? There is no rear water crossover on the EFI motors.

Carbed intakes bolt right on and do not have a rear water crossover. The only reason those ports are back there is because the heads can be swapped left and right. Make sure to use the right gaskets.
