Mr. NumberDummy is a retired Ford Parts Manager and has a fantastic memory plus access to factory documentation.

He is a parts guy and I believe he scans them from his parts book. I want to say you can buy one but I am not sure where.

Ford and their literature vendors are very picky about their diagrams/info and their use. I am now thinking they scan this site once in awhile, or they notice increase traffic at some of their sites and they get a phone call.

For instance for several years I used the free diagrams at Autozone. Grabbing pictures and making links to their info in my posts. All of a sudden about a year ago, no more diagrams. I emailed them and asked them if they were having a problem with their repair section on their site. They said no. I said why can't I get to the Ford diagrams? Oh, we have all the diagrams available except Ford. Gm and the other makes are still up.

I then stumbled onto a link someone had to a site called BBB. Lots of diagrams. I could not grab any pictures but I could leave links. Just recently they have changed it around, you have to give your information each time you go in, and you promise not to copy or link to anything on their site.

I understand they have time and money invested in their literature and should be compensated. I think anyone copying a complete manual should be stopped. But a diagram here or there is not going to be detrimental to their business, and may actually help their sales. Someone who is encouraged with help from us and the few diagrams we put on the web would probably go ahead and buy the complete manuals.

1980/89 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog available on a C/D from hipoparts.com

Dave calls me Mister, why I dunno. I met Dave at Gary Lewis' gtg held in Skiatook OK on 9/16/2017. I actually met him the day before, because we were staying at Gary's residencia.

Also staying at Gary's was Chris (ctubutis) and another fellow (cannot recall his name) who drove a raspy VW Jetta R/T from AZ

The "other" fellow was Jonathan... AKA Ford F834.
