272 carb linkage part missing?

Hi all - Rebuilt my 272 for my '56 F500 and now it purrs like a little kitten. While hooking everything back up I noticed that it seems I'm missing a piece of hardware for my gas pedal linkage that goes to the carb. Can someone identify what's supposed to be here? I don't feel like driving down the road with a pair of vice grips holding it in!

Oh, and here's the engine before it went back in the truck. Pretty much new everything inside less cam bearings. It seems they were replaced not too long ago as was a rod up front. I'll update my separate restoration thread later on. I have wayyyy too many pictures.

Hmm. Nope. I had to dig through my old pictures when I first went to see the truck and found a hi-res pic of the engine. Here is the part blown up, with the arrow pointing to the link.

Looks like you need one of the 9825 at each end. Not sure the proper name for them but I have a bunch of leftovers, and I believe they are in the HELP! section of Autozone et al.

Yup that's the "thing!"

I'll ping the nearest auto stores and see if they have them. If not I'll visit a tractor store. Thanks fellas!
