bed wood dimensions

Hello all. I need some dimensions for the bed wood for my 56 F250, long bed of course. It was totally gone to begin with but I believe there are 3 different widths due to the spacing of the holes for the bed strips. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Bed Dimensions

Ok now, it's winter and all you guys with 3/4 ton F250's have them in the garage doing maintenance. Somebody please take some measurements of the widths of the boards in the bed of your truck and share them with me. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

AXracer,

You seem to know alot about wood beds, just getting to mine now. Wondering about the wood blocks under the cross supports, should they be rubber/plastic (read about hockey pucks). What size?
also mounting holes, i understand there are 4 holes you drill through the boards, and the rest are in the strips and box sides. Wondering if you could tell me exactly where these 4 are.
finish: gunna use walnut, in canada, might be exposed to winter (snows almost every month in different years) so should i finish bottom, or leave it open to allow it to dry? Just gunna clear it. Leave the natural grain and colour. What clear is best? Oil based uerothane or a water based? Or something else?
Any help would be appreciated.

Gotta paint hood and box, then onto wood bed. Its sitting running in the pouring rain.
