Looking to purchase 2011 F250 with 6.2L with 100,700 miles. The hours are as follows: engine hrs 4132, idle hours 1071. Two questions: do you all see any issues with mileage vs. hours, and is the engine hrs the total hrs. or do you add engine hrs. plus idle hrs? Thanks!
my truck 2 years ago... when purchased,, its a 2012 XL 6.2L Gas.
138,000 miles at 4,100 hours.... = 33.6 miles per hour average..= freeway truck
138,000 miles devided by 4 years of service = 34,500 per year.
601 idle hours... maybe worth 2,000 miles added on ..
truck was a Fleet/Lease unit, one owner.
2 years later,,, I am still happy with the truck and the deal.

That truck is averaging 1 mph better than mine. Mine is a daily driver of a 9 mile one way trip with 9 red lights. It also serves as a grocery getter, and has a few vacation trips on it towing a camper. The idle percentage is a little better than mine, but I idle about 30 minutes daily unless the weathers just right while waiting to pick up my son from school. So there’s you a close comparison.

I have to verify my drive hours but I think it's like 3500hr and 2500 idle hours, my truck was a rental in Canada for 3 years of its life.
The Ford manual states that each idle hour is equivalent to 20 miles of easy driving, I have just over 54k on my 2014, so count in idle hours and it has 100k basically.
