I have a 1980 bronco with a 351. this morning it cranked and ran fine. i shut it down and came back 30 min later and.........nothing. no lights no click from solenoid no radio no fan. the voltage on the battery is 12.6. jumping out the solenoid has no result. ground to engine block and to cab both read fine. i have voltage at the fusebox. if i jump out the s and i terminal on solenoid i get battery voltage running through it. what am i misssing?
voltag+e to solenoid ignition off , 12.5 input nothing on the other side or the start. with ignition on i get 12.5 on input , 10.3 on output and start.
ok. update. re read voltage as described above and have same on input and output and start. checked voltage after fuseable link on the thick yellow wires. 12.5volts. checked fusebox and have 12.5 volts on only 1 unused slot with ignition off. with ignition on i have nothing in fusebox
