Fuel pump testing from selector valve

Any guidance on testing in tank fuel pumps from the selector valve.

Which pins are hot to front and back pumps?
12 volts?
5 pin connector at selector valve.

Truck is 85 F350 2wd crew cab longbed with 460 and manual 4 speed.
Thanks.

The wires at the selector valve on the frame are for the sending units, not the pumps. The pumps were switched two different ways or versions. One version switched the power directly from dash switch. The other version switched them through a relay over by the booster. If you have two relays over by the brake booster, one will be the pump select, the other will be the pump relay activated by the oil pressure switch. If you only have one relay, then you have the version where the pump select is by the dash switch.
