wow, that was fast and ... well, funny.
Anyway, I checked out some stuff, and we really like Butterfly Kisses, so we want to thank jbrdrummer. Steven Curtis Chapman was another one, thanks racerguy.
jbalestri, the kind of music I like is more heavy metal, rap metal, (not limp bizkit) some country, some power ballads and very little pop. So, pretty much 97% of what I like is out.
bubba, I read your sig, on occasion in the past, and I had never read who you attributed the quote to. He is my favourite author, but I don't remember reading that.
Thanks again. For the laughs, well wishes, and recommendations.
Guys(and gals), BIGRIG is asking for a song for the PARENTS dance. That is where the bride dances with her father and the groom dance with his mother.
This has nothing to do with the bride/groom dancing together. The PARENT dance is supposed to be a dance of respect.
Lets show him a little of it too.

No sweat bigrig, glad i could be of service...I re-read the lyrics and get all choked up and goose-bumply (is that a word?)...I have a daughter, so it holds a special place for me.
A toast to you and your impending doom...er...most excellent union...<raises glass>
My son and his new bride danced to George Strait and 'You look so good in love". She (the bride) started out with her father and they danced until the proper verse was played and he (her Dad) handed her off to the groom, who was escorting the bride's mother. Then the Groom and Bride danced while the Bride's parents danced untill the end of the song. Listen to the song and you will see how it plays out. The only bad part was that the groom's parents were left totally out of the deal and the Groom's mother was pretty upset that we weren't invited to participate. Any one who has seen me dance would understand that it was a blessing that we weren't invited. It was really nicely done and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Bride and HER dad
Groom and HIS mom
Then when her dad hands her over to Groom, then the other parents come in to their respective partners. Could really help to symbolize leaving their parents to unite and become their own family.
