New truck
Wanted to start of with saying thanks for adding me, I just recently bought a 99 250 -7.3. It is a awesome truck and it took a long time to find this truck. It has a ton of upgrades but I have a question about the chip it has. From what I can tell its a Gearhead 6 position chip but had a no start added to it. I like it as it's an extra security, but the problem I'm having is once I pulled the switch from the elm plug to scan for a tranny code the truck wouldn't start nor would it allow a scanner to hook up. I have called and left messages with Gearhead but hant heard back. An ideas ?
