OEM Window Switch Wiring Help
Browsing the junkyard I found the limited trim door panels with power switches and door locks so I thought I could use those instead of the switches that came with the kit to get a more stock look.
On the Driver's side I cut the wires leading to the Yescom switches and thought I could simply wire them up to the OEM switches and all would be gravy. Unfortunately I'm not getting any power to the windows. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Currently I have the positive wire leading to the center terminal, the ground wires leading to the same black wires the OEM switch originally had, the blue/green wires are plugged in where the white/black and yellow wires were. Similarly on the passenger window (driver's side switch) the two brown wires are plugged in where the white and brown wires originally were.
I haven't tried this on the passenger's switch which is currently plugged into the standard Yescom switch (I don't believe this is an issue because the circuit should still be closed). Thanks for your help!
