What do you think angels are?
I believe they are among us right now.....to the point that you could be looking /talking to one and not realize it.
Think about that one??????
Hahaha. I think they're out there (aliens, that is) just waiting for us to finish killing each other off so they can come take over our planet. See they know that eventually we will kill each other all off, so they're just patiently waiting so they don't have to do any of the dirty work.
I might be a little late jumping in here, but check out Seti@Home. The program analyzes radio signals from space, it helps search for ET. I am a member there, and it uses your unused cpu cycles. It will run while you are at work, sleeping, whatever. My machine has enough grunt to run it all the time without noticing a slow down. If you do decide to run it, consider joining the group called "Mistercmk's Group"
Another point of view is that an advanced civilization capable of interstellar travel probably understands the value of not making first contact until the species is ready to handle it. Sort of like Star Trek's prime directive.
What would happen today if a UFO landed on the White House lawn and a couple of aliens walked up to say "hi" to the president? The planet would go nuts. We'd be trying to shoot the UFO down, trying to shoot the aliens all because humans fear the unkown. Religious zealots would see it as a threat to their beliefs and go postal on us. Scientists would be the only one excited by the prospect of contact with an alien civilization. And the scientist would probably be the ones to bear the attack of the religous zealots.
No, we're not ready yet. Give us 50 years or so to get used to the idea.
I want to believe! Actually, with not seeing any aliens up close or personal, not that I'd want to, I have had an experience that leads me to believe. Besides, I figure that since we're here on earth, why can't there be another planet out there with inhabitants?
I have never seen any proof of another life form from a different planet that has >= human beings intelligents so my answer is no. although I think that there is other life forms(not human) on earth that could run the u.s. goverment better .
i think they do and have exsisted for billions of yrs. before us is noted in the bible and cave drawings 5k yrs. or more are present in paintings from 1000'S OF yrs. back like their planets took off first when big bang happened so they developed 1st. and we are still to primitive and violant for them to contact us in the open yet could go on an on but would get carried away with it

Aliens do exist. I have seen many things to back this up. Where I lived for a while was about 25~30 minutes from Grissom A.R.B. Air Reserve Base.... I think the R in ARB is more likely research. Shortly after the supposedly went "reserve" the security level around the base jumped 250%. At night it was not uncommon to see many UFOs some were visibly airplanes yes, but other eluded binoculars and even telescopes.
I think that anyone having seen anything, would be extremely reluctant in light of skepticism of others, to mention such facts on an open forum. I firmly accept that there are things on this planet that I cannot even begin to comprehend, my imagination cannot visualize, and my brain cannot fathom. I also accept that some of the multi million dollar surveillance equipment secreted around the western dessert is not looking at earth, or anywhere near here.. It is on military bases that enforce total secrecy, even before 9/11 - they are sure of something, and they don't want us to know.
I still think the aliens should come see me, rather than anyone else. I think it would be a cool thing to actually see something people don't believe exists..
