swapping e4od from 91 f350 to my 94 f350

Help !! is there anyone out there who can tell me what happened?

I have a 1994 f350 box truck that used to be a uhaul. I burnt up the transmission it was smoking. I could not find an e4od anywhere, drove 100 miles to get one out of a 91 f350 , pulled it out and it looked good but never tested it. put it into my f350 and nothing no forward no back. swaped out the silinoid pack and nothing. please any ideas i need to work.
thanks
sean

Either something mechanical isn't connected, like the torque converter to the flex plate, or the internal filter fell out, or it doesn't have enough fluid, or the linkage isn't connected to the manual valve inside the pan, or the new trans is junk. It's one of those. It is NOT anything electrical. Changing the solenoids was a waste of time, that can't cause this.

Please help

First thank you for answering me. I start my truck and I hear the engine bog down and speed up when I go through the gears but no movement it's like the ebrake is on but no bucking.

Then it's one of these:

Either something mechanical isn't connected, like the torque converter to the flex plate, or the internal filter fell out, or it doesn't have enough fluid, or the linkage isn't connected to the manual valve inside the pan, or the new trans is junk.

If you don't have any movement in reverse or manual 1, even with pushing down hard on the gas pedal, then there is a mechanical problem with the transmission or torque converter or your rear axle can't move for some reason.

Start by checking the fluid level with the truck running. If it's good, drop the pan and replace the filter.
