I have streaks on my windshield that cannot be removed. They only show up when the windshield fogs up. I tried everything to remove them to no avail. I took the car to the dealer and their prep shop couldn't' remove them either. They said it looks like defective glass with the streaks actually between the layers of the laminated glass. I am waiting on Ford's answer on whether they will replace the windshield under warranty. Has anyone else had this problem? The dealer prep shop said they haven't seen this problem in over 10 years with the modern manufacturing methods. This was the best picture I could get. When the windshield is fogged up , it covers the entire windshield and doesn't go away.

 

I have the exact same problem. No matter what I do the streaks can't be removed. Mine goes in next week for other stuff. I'll see if I can get them to look at the problem being inside the lamination.
