tracking down #3 high to low open, injector does not fire and fails Buzz test. Checking from connector on diver side harness all injectors are between 2-3 ohms including #3. Before pulling inner fender to access IDM, I decided to buzz test with harness disconnected and isolated. No surprise showed failure on both banks , but 1273 for injector 3 still came up.
in my mind this leaves only the IDM itself as the problem. But other opinions are welcome before I hunt down a replacement.
How does the ohm reading compare specifically to the other injectors? I've seen a reading of around 0.5 difference indicate a bad injector solenoid that shut down the entire bank. If the reading is off a little on #3, swap that solenoid with #1 or #5 and see if the code and problem moves with the solenoid, or stays in the same hole.
I'll double check difference, I have a spare set of injectors ill swap solenoid.

the reason i am leaning towards the IDM is buzz test with harness unplugged showed 1273 . That doesn't make sense , unless it's a internal issue to the driver module.
Pulled IDM switched to smaller leads on meter. From IDM connector all injectors measure 2.9 ohms . IDM pin 24-21 is open all other injector circuits read 12.8 .
ordered replacement IDM.
