engine swap
I have a 2008 ford f250 with a 6.8 L in it that blew up. I was just wondering if a 2000 6.8 will work in my 08'. I can't find anything on the internet that says either way other than the 2000 is a 2 valve and the 2008 is a three valve. Just wondering if they are interchangeable?

check out a salvage aggregation site like car-part.com and find the right motor.

No, unless you are an experienced fabricator and engine control system guru.
Alternatively you could also do it with an open checkbook and the right specialty shop, but the bill would be about the same as a brand new truck.
