Dang it!! Jacked up the truck, got the tire off, and I need a 55 torx to get the caliper off. One guess on where torx bits are at? I found a 50 floating around in the tool box in the basement.
I got the new rotors and pads on finally. They were worn out, should have done it a few weeks ago. Took the trash to the dump and trimmed and brought in the Christmas tree.
things have gotten bad. Hired a new guy, salary (you dont do that in a shop filled with commission) he brown noses something awful, and now **** is circulating about me....
Yesturday I decided to go have me time and work on my own **** before going to work in the afternoon (no set work times on saturday, but boss has been accustomed to it) and decides to **** ive been asking to happen for weeks, and then the new guy goes to work on my ticket cars.
Sorry to hear that Jacob, being miserable at work is the worst.
I got the christmas tree trimmed up and we now have it decorated. Little man wanted to keep pulling the decorations off the tree. I love christmas time but hate the cold.
Tree looks good. Alex it a 20 minute round trip if I just go to Thomaton an hour to Griffin,
Two hours to Macon, Warner Robins, Atlanta or Columbus. You learn to plan your trips
Jacob sorry for all the crap
This what I have been drawing up. Still have to do most automotive outside.
I forgot about the torx till I was pulling the tire off. We do live in the county and 15 miles as the crow flies to Rome but no direct route to get there. I upgraded to ceramic pads and they are great, a lot better stopping power than the kind that were on there. Hopefully no more tons of brake dust.
Talked to step mom today. She wants me to come down and get some stuff my father wanted me to have. An old wheel horse tractor, a ring that my father has worn as long as I can remember, my grandfathers watch. She said I can have her riding mower and whatever else is on the garage and some other stuff. We did not discuss my fathers and grandfathers Farmall tractor. I still have a bad feeling she is going to give it to her son.
Hope it gets better for you Jacob.
I wish I had a garage, but at least I have a concrete parking pad outside to work on. Better than what I use to have with was dirt.
Hump day is here!!
Going to finish up at mom in-laws house this weekend so I can go to down to Florida next weekend. Step mom is selling the house and I need to come down quick to get the stuff she wants to give me. No rest for the weary.
