I purchased my truck just over a month ago, and I noticed today that the windshield has two chips/pits located on the INSIDE, on the driver side. I'm pretty sure they weren't there when new, and being inside the vehicle, they were definitely not caused by a thrown rock.
Has anyone experienced pitting glass on the inside? Would this be covered under the manufacturer warranty?
I had an F150 that had pitting in the windshield glass on the outside. It was on the bottom third of the glass just about all the way across. It was replaced under warranty. The dealer didn’t want to fix it but I called mamma Ford and it was replaced two days later. I think they just get some bad glass once in a while.

It's possible, and it is indeed pitted from the inside. There are two circular chips right next to each other, and you can feel the sharp indentation. I'm fairly certain it wasn't there on the dealer's lot, but you never know. I
