So this thing connects your phone to the screen in the truck allowing you to display what’s on your phone on the screen in the truck or the screen in your truck on your phone? So like if I have an OBDLink connected to ForScan on my phone I can display that on the screen in the truck? Or does this thing plug into the OBD port? Even if it does, maybe it will interface with ForScan. What else does this thing do?
No, it does not plug into the OBDII port. You have to remove the display screen and "plug in" the lock pick between the wiring harness and the screen. The android using Miracast to project what is on your phone/tablet screen to the radio screen.

I'm going to have to get me one of these puppies. There's another thread on folks installing brackets for their tablets, while not the same amount of real estate as a tablet, certainly an upgrade from a phone. One of the things that bugs the heck out of me on my 2013 is that I can't use a navigation app on my phone and hear the instructions while listening to the radio. I can use the Aux Input, and the navigation sound comes through the sound system NP. This may solve that problem, actually enhance it, rather than having the navigation on the phone and the sound through the sound system, with this thing it looks possible to have both the sound through the trucks sound system and the navigation app on the phone displayed.
