Q: Wireless charging
About the only thing that was better in GMC trucks I test drove (subjectively) was the presence of a wireless phone charger. Does anyone have any suggestions on OEM or aftermarket setup, preferably with quick charge capabilities? Much appreciated.

I've thought about the rectangular cubby to the left of the cupholders. It has a tray that you can pull up and expose the actual bottom of the space, with about 3/8" of open clearance. Below it is the key fob cutout for emergency keyless/prox key use and programming. Was thinking about putting a charging mat above the key cutout and below the removable tray, running the wires back into the console from underneath the removable tray so no wires are visible. Haven't tried it, but I wonder if it will interfere with the prox key sensor. Alternatively looking at the closeable cubby at the forward end of the console. Not sure if the USB ports already there (connected to the SYNC system) would support the load, but worth a try if everything fits. Could also still run the cable from there into the center console interior power points.

The 2018 Expedition has one built into the tray inside the center console. This is just like the Ford accessories link above. The 2018 Lincoln Navigator has one where our keyfob programmer as seen here: https://www.lincoln.com/cmslibs/cont...1280.1280.jpeg
I too am looking for something. I dont like either of those options. The last thing I want to do it open my center console every time I get in the truck. I utilize all the cup holders, so that's not going to work. Ideally, I would like to mount one under the center console lid so that I could just put the phone on it and charge through it. I doubt that will work, but I am going to try with the new phone gets in.
