Hello everyone 1st time posting on this type of thing. My spelling will not be the best. So any way I have a 2000 ford excursion 7.3 I don't have the owners manual. My trailer I just got works great I hooked it up to my truck every thing works besides the left trailer turn and brake signals. I used a fuse tester with a light I'm not getting any power for the left turn and brake. Can any one tell me right were the fuse and the relay is please. It's been 3 days I can't find any thing on the net or in person. I want to do it right I don't want to splice thru my truck wires. By the way my trucks turn and brake lights work great. So that's y I think it's a fuse or a relay for the trailer.
I just checked and the Owner's Manual along with various supplements are available as downloads.
Regarding the trailer plug not getting current to all of the pins, my vote is to first trace back the plug's wiring to the connector that attaches to the vehicle's lights and verify the wires have good connectivity. While I had not dug into mine, chances are it is a 'T' connector unless a previous owner got creative and bypassed it. Am sure that somebody with better experience will come along shortly.
If it was a fuse or relay there would be more trailer lights not working not just the left side. It's a wiring problem either in your trucks pigtail or the trailers' feeding the left side.
